Live Arrival Guarantee and DOA Policy
At Amanda’s Aquatics, I take extreme care in packing my fish to ensure they arrive healthy. I provide a Live Arrival Guarantee on all overnight and 2-day shipments under the following conditions:
Clear Photo Evidence: In the rare event of a DOA, you must send a clear photo of the fish in the original, unopened bag within 2 hours of the carrier’s delivery timestamp.
Time Limit: Reports made after the 2-hour window or after the bag has been opened will not be eligible for a refund or replacement.
Shipping Costs: My guarantee covers the cost of the fish only. Shipping charges are non-refundable.
Weather Delays: I reserve the right to delay shipping if temperatures in your area are unsafe for live transit. If you insist on shipping during extreme weather against my advice, the Live Arrival Guarantee is void.

Shipping Schedule & Preparation Policy
To ensure the health and safety of my fish, I follow a strict shipping and preparation schedule:
Shipping Days: I ship orders on Mondays only. This prevents packages from being held in cold sorting facilities over the weekend.
The 2-Day Fasting Rule: All fish must be "fasted" (not fed) for a minimum of 48 hours before they are packed. This ensures they do not foul their water while in transit, which is the #1 cause of stress and loss.
Order Cut-off: * Orders placed by Friday evening will be prepared over the weekend and shipped that coming Monday.
Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will generally be held until the following Monday to allow for the full 48-hour fasting period.
Exceptions: If I already have a surplus of fish fasted and ready for transit, I may be able to ship your weekend order that Monday. Otherwise, please expect your order to ship the following week.
