IMPORTANT BUSINESS UPDATE: Navigating a Historic Florida Crisis

To our valued customers, partners, and the native fish-keeping community,

If you have noticed that many of our live stock listings and products are currently out of stock, we want to be completely transparent with you about why.

North Florida is currently locked in an unprecedented, historic 134-year Exceptional Drought. Our local freshwater ecosystems and groundwater tables are sitting at critical, record-breaking lows.

This crisis isn't just an abstract statistic on a map; it has hit me deeply and personally. Every single local fishing hole that I have ever known in my entire life—places that defined my history and my deep connection to Florida's waters—is completely dry right now. Seeing those lifelong waters turn to dust is a heartbreaking reality, and it shows just how severe the environmental toll has become.

Unlike traditional land crops or corporate operations, we cultivate and protect specialized, live native Florida aquatic biology and fragile bloodlines. Our infrastructure relies entirely on the stability of an uncompromised, natural freshwater table. When the local hydrology collapses to this extreme degree, we cannot simply "truck in" water or bypass nature.

To protect the health, genetic integrity, and safety of our specialized native stock, we have intentionally paused and restricted production until local water tables and environmental parameters stabilize.

We are not going anywhere. We are actively fighting this battle behind the scenes, taking our case directly to state regulators and water management districts to demand emergency variances and protections for small-scale native aquaculture producers.

This environment is our livelihood, our passion, and our dream. We refuse to compromise the quality or the life of the native species we provide to aquariums across the nation. We are incredibly grateful for your patience, your loyalty, and your continued support while we navigate this natural crisis and protect the wild heart of Florida.

Please keep an eye on this page and our social channels for updates on when sustainable collection and breeding operations can safely resume.
